Stealing

I found this on Allie, Dearest's blog (find her in my links) - and I stole it because it made me feel warm inside my chest. I love Tennessee Williams and I love how he knew people and how vulnerable we all are. How we are all misfits in our own skin. He was a wordsmith, that fellow.

I have found it easier to identify with the characters who verge upon hysteria, who were frightened of life, who were desperate to reach out to another person.

But these seemingly fragile people are the strong people really.
