Baucis
a poor old woman who, with her husband, Philemon, showed such hospitality to the disguised Zeus and Hermes that the grateful gods turned their humble cottage into a temple, and granted the couple a wish: to stay together forever and die on the same day, then to turn into two trees that grow intertwined.
