Yesterday, I watched
Stranger than Paradise, directed by Jim Jarmusch and I loved it.
The Judge and I watched
Permanent Vacation, also directed by Jim Jarmusch, but I hated it. Preachy, hipster, and totally melodramatic. But it's ok - the first film secured my love for the man's work.

Have you seen Down By Law yet? It's my second fave of his after Stranger than Paradise.
I haven't - but I'm putting that on my list.
I forgot to mention Mystery Train. Another wonderful one. I don't think I ever saw Permanent Vacation. Jarmusch is also fantastic and hilarious in a small scene in Blue In The Face, directed by Paul Auster.
