It is Friday! I hope everyone is doing well.
Cold and sunny today in Nashville, and with just enough bite to it,

I love and fear this time of year, and it is particularly strange this time because my
grandfather is in the hospital, not doing well. I am trying to be positive about
the whole thing, but it gets me down a bit. Granddaddy Patton is an Alabama river map, a
deep, warm chuckle, and lots of pranks. He is the son of a hard man who loved horses.
He loves the Braves and NASCAR and fishing. And I love him.
