FaeRae's Mixed Tape: Sweet Home Alabama

I can't stop viewing footage of this destruction. My father told me that when I see how close the storm came to my grandmother and our cousins that it would make me weep - the tornado just barely avoided them. My heart goes out to all those who weren't as lucky - my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so sorry.

Grateful for your thoughts and prayers! What area does your family live in? We were lucky we didn't get any damage...we live 45 minutes South of Tuscaloosa. It's very sad around here...some of our students (I teach prek) lost their homes. BUT, everyone is really pulling together and doing their part...makes me proud to live in Alabama!

We live in downtown and my father's family is in Concord/Hueytown. We were all really lucky. This is heartbreaking.
